Australian Grand Prix: Verstappen Takes Pole Position Ahead of Sainz and Perez
Qualifying Results Announced

Formula One fans worldwide can enjoy a brief respite from early wake-ups as the Australian Grand Prix gets underway at 0400 GMT on Sunday. Residents of Australia will have the opportunity to watch the race starting at 3 pm local time.
Qualifying for the Grand Prix commenced at 4 pm local time (11 GMT) on Saturday. Max Verstappen secured pole position, followed by Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez. Perez's participation in the race is subject to the stewards' discretion after failing to set a time during the first qualifying session.
