Real Madrid Responds with Goals from Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior

Manchester City and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in Madrid on Wednesday.

City took the lead through Bernardo Silva in the 21st minute, but Real Madrid responded with goals from Karim Benzema and Vinicius Junior to go into halftime with a 2-1 advantage.

Phil Foden equalized for City in the 53rd minute, and Josko Gvardiol put the visitors ahead in the 70th minute. However, Real Madrid refused to surrender and Benzema scored his second goal of the night in the 82nd minute to secure a draw for the home side.

The second leg of the tie will be played at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester on April 17th. City will need to win by at least two goals to advance to the semi-finals, while Real Madrid will be looking to secure a draw or a narrow victory to reach the last four.
