AP CJ McCollum scored 24 points, and Zion Williamson added 23 points and seven rebounds as the New Orleans Pelicans fell to the Memphis Grizzlies, 132-111, on Friday night. Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 26 points, 13 assists, and 10 rebounds.
The Grizzlies led by as many as 24 points in the first half and never trailed. Dillon Brooks added 22 points for Memphis, and Brandon Clarke had 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Pelicans have now lost three of their last four games. They will host the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night.
The Grizzlies have won four of their last five games. They will host the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night.
