Jamal Musiala ruled out of upcoming friendly
A setback for the youngster
Germany forward Jamal Musiala has been ruled out of the upcoming friendly with Belarus due to an injury sustained in Bayern Munich's 2-1 victory over Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The 20-year-old attacker suffered a muscular problem in his right thigh and will miss the match in Leipzig on Saturday, the German Football Association (DFB) said on Thursday.
Musiala has been in impressive form for Bayern this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in seven Bundesliga appearances.
His injury is a blow to Germany coach Hansi Flick, who is already without several key players for the friendly with Belarus.
Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann said Musiala is expected to be out for "a few days" and will miss Bayern's Bundesliga match against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday.
