Versatile Quarterback impressed with atmosphere and academics
WEB Quarterback Mabrey Mettauer came away from his only visit to Wisconsin’s campus in September impressed with so many facets of the program that he has listed Wisconsin in his top 5 schools.
Mettauer is a 6-foot-6, 230-pound pro-style quarterback who is considered one of the top recruits in the Class of 2024. He had a very impressive junior season, earning Texas District 13-6A Co-Offensive MVP honors.
As a sophomore, Mettauer was even more impressive, earning Texas District 13-6A Overall MVP honors.
Mettauer has a strong arm and is very accurate with his passes. He is also a good runner and can use his size to his advantage.
In addition to Wisconsin, Mettauer is also considering offers from Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and LSU.
