Air Serbia Adjusts Baggage Regulations
Carry-On and Checked Baggage Policies Revised
Air Serbia has recently announced updates to its baggage regulations. The new policies affect both carry-on and checked baggage allowances and aim to enhance the travel experience for passengers.
Carry-On Luggage
Passengers are now permitted to bring one carry-on bag with dimensions not exceeding 55 x 40 x 23 cm (21.6 x 15.7 x 9 inches) and a weight limit of 8 kg (17.6 pounds). Additionally, passengers may carry a small personal item, such as a handbag or laptop bag.
Checked Baggage
Checked baggage allowances vary based on travel class and destination. Economy class passengers are typically entitled to one checked bag weighing up to 23 kg (50.7 pounds), while Business class passengers may check in two bags weighing up to 32 kg (70.5 pounds) each.
Irregularities with Baggage
Air Serbia has also implemented new policies regarding irregularities with baggage. Passengers are now required to report any damage, loss, or theft of baggage within 7 days of arrival. Failure to do so may result in a delay or denial of compensation.
Customer Service
To assist passengers with any baggage-related inquiries or issues, Air Serbia has improved its customer service capabilities. Passengers can now access support via online chat, email, or phone, ensuring prompt assistance whenever needed.
Plan for Flights
Passengers are advised to carefully review the updated baggage regulations and plan their packing accordingly. Air Serbia recommends checking in baggage within the specified weight and dimension limits to avoid any inconvenience or additional charges at the airport.
